2016 Golden Globes Bling

Everyone else may be all about the dresses, but here at SJ – we love the bling! Take a look at some of our favorite jewelry looks from this year’s Golden Globes.

First up is the lady in white, Laverne Cox, looking every inch the glamour goddess in a floor sweeping Elizabeth Kennedy gown. As far as I’m concerned, though, it’s the fabulous emerald-green drop earrings that make the look. That pop of color paired with flawless hair and ruby lips keeps the eye where it belongs – on that gorgeous face! Remember when Kirsten Dunst was just that cute little girl in Interview with the Vampire? Well, she’s most definitely all grown up, but she’s still not afraid to let the dark side out to play. She glammed up her plunging Nina and Clare gown with a vintage inspired diamond bracelet and classic diamond drop earrings (you can get a nearly identical pair from SuperJeweler for a steal here).

Emmy Rossum had every right to be shameless at this year’s Golden Globes. Check her out in this stunning, strapless Armani Prive dress. She looked every bit the lady in an amazing diamond statement necklace and classic studs. Oh, and did you check out that eyeliner? She’s vintage perfection from head to toe!

Viola Davis looks like the star she is in this twinkling Marchesa gown. Draped in so much sparkle, she kept the jewelry simple with a pair of chic diamond drop earrings and a jaw dropping halo diamond ring – proving yet again that when it comes to fashion, she’s a class act.

Last but not least, I HAD to include Bryce Dallas Howard! Ron Howard’s daughter bought her dress (without the help of a stylist) off the rack at Neiman Marcus. Her reason? In a sea of size twos and fours – there just aren’t that many options for a woman who is quite comfortable as a size six. She opts to shop at department stores that stock a wide variety of gowns in her size. As if that isn’t enough to make her a rock star, take a look at those unbelievable fire opal drop earrings!
